Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project located at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. This role will assist the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with schedules, forecasting, and variance analyses, coordinating with subcontractors and finance teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining P6 schedules, integrating them into the master schedule, and delivering regular reports while ensuring credentialing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in construction/project scheduling.
• 3+ years on large-scale heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• 5+ years administering project schedules.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review and present multiple subprojects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the project team.
• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; U.S. Citizenship required.

• Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6.
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule.
• Report and monitor progress on major construction milestones.
• Support the Project Controls Manager in weekly status of work across subcontractors.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and ad hoc reporting.
• Support day-to-day project administration including financial control and reporting.
• Provide earned value progress and performance reporting; variance analysis of schedule slip.
• Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a Project Scheduler to support our Spent Fuel Handling Project.

The Project Scheduler is a key player of the construction management team that is overseeing the Spent Fuel Handling Project. This project is located at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. This role will assist the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with the development of project plans, will focus on reviewing the accuracy and validation of subcontract vendor schedules (baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead), including progress and schedule logic management. Forecasting, diagnosing, and assisting the Construction Manager in schedule forecast analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6
• Assist in the integration of subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule
• Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction projectmilestones
• Supporting the Project Controls Manager in review of multiple subcontractor schedules in tracking the status of work on a weekly basis
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager
• Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring
• Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project
• Provide variance analysis of schedule slip
• Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of work experience
• 3+ years of experience on large scale heavy industrial projects
• Experience with Primavera P6
• 5 or more years of experience (demonstrating of proficiency) in administering project schedules
• Experience with the MS Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple subprojects with minimum supervision
• Communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the project team
• Documentation and the ability to clearly articulate to others
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ARES PRISM is a plus
• Experience with project accounting and cost estimating is a plus
• Experience with Deltek Acumen software
• Financial analysis experience
• Scheduling and Modeling software experience a plus

Compensation Details:

$100,000 - $150,000
