Muth Electric, Inc. is hiring a Construction Scheduler to develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating resources, materials, and tasks using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

You will identify risks, manage delays, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of related experience, a degree (or equivalent), and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to work with architects, engineers, and suppliers in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling.
• Understanding of construction processes and dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze delays and perform schedule risk analyses.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail in schedules and reports.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Creation & Management: Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules from start to finish, using techniques like the Critical Path Method.
• Resource Allocation: Coordinate the efficient allocation and timing of labor, equipment, and materials to avoid delays and bottlenecks.
• Risk & Delay Management: Proactively identify potential risks, analyze schedule impacts, and develop mitigation plans for issues like weather delays, design changes, and material shortages.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress against the schedule, analyze performance, and provide regular updates and reports to project management and stakeholders.
• Coordination & Communication: Serve as a central point of communication, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
• Change Management: Manage and incorporate changes, such as change orders, into the project schedule to maintain accuracy and control.
