Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC in New Jersey seeks a Scheduler to support the Project Team by developing and maintaining project schedules, reviewing documents, and coordinating with teammates to deliver on-time, high-quality work.

The role emphasizes CPM scheduling, familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong communication and analytical skills. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years on construction sites are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years related work experience in lieu of degree.
• Understanding of CPM concepts and scheduling best practices.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred.
• Strong numeric, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage multiple project schedules with CPM.
• Review project documents, drawings and specs for scheduling impact.
• Create schedules, load resources and costs as needed.
• Prepare schedule submittals and ensure conformance with contracts.
• Monitor critical path, milestones and schedule integrity.
• Coordinate with team members and present progress updates.
• Support utilization tracking, deadlines and timesheet data.
• Escalate client or project issues promptly to supervisors.
