Job summary

Willmeng Construction, Inc. in Arizona is seeking a Scheduler to develop and maintain CPM schedules across concurrent projects. You will work with PMs, superintendents, estimators, and trades to build baseline schedules, track progress, and identify risks.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience building and maintaining CPM schedules in a construction environment.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 required; working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and typical trade sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present schedule information to field staff, executives, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update baseline and working CPM schedules across multiple concurrent projects.
• Partner with project managers and superintendents to sequence work, define durations, and identify the critical path.
• Track actual progress against plan, issue regular schedule updates, and report variances to project teams and leadership.
• Perform what-if and impact analyses to evaluate delays, change orders, and proposed recovery plans.
• Coordinate schedule input from subcontractors and trade partners and integrate their commitments into the master schedule.
• Prepare schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, and progress reporting for owners and internal stakeholders.
• Support preconstruction by building preliminary schedules for bids, proposals, and interviews.
• Maintain schedule templates, standards, and historical duration data to improve accuracy on future projects.
