Job summary

Structure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Scheduler in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Scheduler will maintain close working relationships with the Project Team to ensure that they meet or exceed Project Controls standards.

This hands-on role interfaces with estimating, design, and construction teams to ensure accurate life cycle management of quantity, cost, and schedule from original estimate through project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Proficient in document control and office software (Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office).
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MSP.

Responsibilities

• Prepares CPM scenarios for management and integrates them into a complete schedule.
• Collects historical and forecast data for realistic planning and forecasting.
• Learn project scopes and contracts to support scheduling.
• Communicates with Owners to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions.
• Provides scheduling analysis for delays and risk mitigation.
• Ensures teams respond to schedule risks and delays.
• Oversees schedule documentation and notices to management.
• Participates in pursuits, prepares proposals, RFP responses and content.
• Documents schedule basis with critical assumptions for internal use.
• Conducts monthly schedule audits and trains PMs and supers on scheduling tools.
