Job summary

Structure Tone, part of STO Building Group, seeks a Senior Scheduler in New Jersey to partner with estimating, design and construction teams to manage CPM schedules from estimate through project completion.

The role interfaces with Owner communications, supports quarterly audits, and trains project managers on scheduling tools. Competitive salary and discretionary bonus accompany a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
10+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Self-sufficient in document control and common office software.
Proficient in scheduling software including Primavera P6 or MSP.

Responsibilities

Prepare CPM scenarios and incorporate final approach into a complete CPM schedule.
Access historical and forecast data for realistic planning and forecasting.
Understand project scopes and contracts and communicate with Owner as needed.
Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to mitigate risk.
Ensure teams respond properly to schedule risks and notices.
Oversee contract notices, delays, and documentation of schedules.
Participate in pursuits and prepare proposals, RFP content, etc.
Document schedule basis with clear assumptions for internal use and GMP/Owner docs.
Conduct monthly schedule audits and train PMs/Supers in scheduling tools.
