Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Scheduler who will maintain close working relationships with the Project Team to ensure they meet or exceed Project Controls standards. This hands‑on role will interface with estimating, design, and construction teams to manage the life cycle of quantity, cost, and schedule from original estimate through project completion.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, 3–8 years of experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–8 years relevant experience in scheduling or project controls.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and contract scopes.
• Self-sufficient in document control and office software (Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office).
• Scheduling software experience including Primavera P6 or MSP; travel/relocation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares CPM scenarios for management and integrates them into a complete CPM schedule.
• Accumulates historical and forecast data for realistic planning and forecasting.
• Develops understanding of project scopes and contracts.
• Communicates with Owner to ensure satisfaction or corrective action as needed.
• Provides scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to mitigate project risk.
• Ensures teams are aware of risks relative to schedule and deadlines.
• Documents schedule basis with critical assumptions for internal use, GMPs and Owner documentation.
• Conducts monthly schedule project audits.
• Trains Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling software usage.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
