Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers in Sparks, NV is hiring a Construction Safety Trainer to deliver and assess safety programs across construction sites. The role requires 5+ years of safety experience and strong OSHA knowledge, with travel between local Reno offices and job sites as needed.

You will lead safety training for employees and subcontractors and maintain compliant records while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction safety.
• Experience delivering classroom and hands-on safety training.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate safety training programs for construction employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct new hire safety orientation and ongoing safety education.
• Train employees on OSHA standards, hazard recognition, fall protection, PPE and other topics.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Assist in jobsite safety inspections and incident investigations.
