Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to lead on-site safety programs for our Arizona Division. You will develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance and safe project execution.

You will conduct inspections, investigations, training, and record-keeping, including OSHA 10/30 training. A Bachelor's degree in Safety Management and a valid UT driver’s license are preferred, with three years of safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred.
• Three years of safety experience in construction or related field.
• OSHA 500/510 certification preferred or required.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific safety programs.
• Conduct inspections and audits for hazards and risks.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project management to integrate safety into planning.
• Train employees on safety protocols and new hire orientations.
• Provide OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training for applicable staff.
• Maintain accurate safety records and training logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
