Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and field-focused Safety Officer to lead and support safety initiatives across active construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring safety expectations are clearly communicated, consistently enforced, and integrated into daily operations. The Safety Officer works closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Reinforce safe work practices through field presence and coaching.

Safety Culture & Leadership

• Promote and reinforce a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
• Partner with field leadership to drive accountability and consistent safety performance.
• Lead by example and build trust with crews and supervisors.

Training & Communication

• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training sessions.
• Communicate safety updates, requirements, and lessons learned.

Incident Management
