Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Safety Manager for the Indianapolis, IN region. The Safety Manager oversees all safety-related needs on a project, engaging onsite teams and ensuring preparedness and execution of safety protocols.

This role collaborates with the client and Territory Safety Lead to meet safety program goals and complete required reporting. Responsibilities include leading safety trainings, reviewing site activities for safe practices, completing safety documentation, and

Qualifications

• CHST/BCSP Certification required.
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification.
• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (Early Morning Concrete Placements) and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to craft on safety initiatives and training.
• Reviews on-site activities to promote safe work practices and PPE usage.
• Completes internal and external safety documentation and reporting.
• Performs multiple safety observations per week.
