Lithko Contracting, LLC. is seeking a Safety Manager for the Indianapolis, IN region.

The Safety Manager is responsible for all safety related needs on a project, reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This Safety Manager works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Qualifications

• CHST/BCSP Certification is required.
• OSHA 30 Certification is required.
• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• Willing to work odd hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to Craft in Daily Plan Preparation (DPP) and Operational Activity Trainings (OAT) engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage by engaging craft and holding others accountable to influence behavioral change.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.
• Completed multiple safety observations per week.

This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This Safety Manager works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to Craft in Daily Plan Preparation (DPP) and Operational Activity Trainings (OAT) engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage by engaging craft and holding others accountable to influence behavioral change.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST/BCSP Certification required
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (Early Morning Concrete Placements) and overtime as needed.
