Job summary

CORE Midwest is seeking a full-time Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on construction projects across Indiana. The role involves coaching field teams, partnering with project teams on K-12, college, municipal, and public safety projects, and ensuring adherence to CORE safety programs.

The role is in-person with travel to multiple sites, requiring strong training, audits, and collaboration with project managers. Proficiency with Procore and Predictive Solutions is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or industrial safety supervision.
• Degree in Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• CHST and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Ability to travel statewide in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, stand-downs, and risk assessments on jobsites.
• Coordinate safety training for field teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain and enforce CORE safety policies and procedures on projects.
• Investigate incidents and maintain proper documentation and reporting.
• Monitor and improve use of safety technologies and software.
• Support project teams with health, safety, and environmental topics.
