Job summary

CORE Midwest is actively seeking a full-time Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety on our Indiana project sites. This on‑site role requires hands-on leadership with field teams and travel to multiple sites across the state, including Indianapolis and southern Indiana.

You will conduct safety audits, training, and incident investigations, while ensuring adherence to CORE’s Safety Manual and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction or industrial safety supervisory experience.
• Professional degree in health & safety or related field preferred.
• Pass background check as required by clients.
• OSHA 30 certification required, CHST preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers safety program and practices with trade partners.
• Conducts new hire safety orientation and training.
• Conducts safety audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
• Supports project teams with safety policies and emergency planning.
• Coordinates with project managers to maintain hazard-free sites.
• Travel throughout Indiana to multiple sites.
