WELBRO Building Corporation in Central Florida is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and enforce the safety program across projects. You will lead hazard control strategies, conduct site inspections, and drive training to promote proactive safety culture.

The role requires seven years with a GC in a supervisory capacity, four years in safety compliance, and a CHST credential. You will collaborate with PMs and superintendents to ensure regulatory compliance and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience with a commercial general contractor in a supervisory role.
• Four years in a safety compliance capacity for a general contractor.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST credential required.

Responsabilités

• Lead site safety program development and enforcement to reduce risk.
• Perform jobsite safety inspections, document hazards, and recommend corrective action.
• Coordinate OSHA 29 CFR 1926 compliance across projects.
• Deliver safety training and communicate updates in management meetings.
• Oversee incident investigations and reporting, including workers' comp issues.
• Support hurricane and disaster preparedness planning with operations.
