They are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to help support projects throughout New England, with some potential travel into the Mid-Atlantic.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a field-oriented position focused on keeping projects and crews operating safely.

You'll conduct site inspections and audits, support project-specific safety planning, review JHAs/JSAs, lead training and toolbox talks, investigate incidents and near misses, manage documentation and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Just as importantly, you'll work directly with field teams to build a strong safety culture. They want someone who can coach and educate crews, earn credibility in the field, identify risk before it becomes a problem, and hold people accountable when necessary.

What They're Looking For

• Construction safety experience within civil, utility, electrical, or another self-perform construction environment
• Electric transmission and distribution experience is highly attractive, but not required
• Strong heavy civil, underground utility, excavation, sitework, or energy infrastructure experience will translate well
• Comfortable working directly with field crews and project leadership
• Willingness to travel throughout New England based on project needs
• OSHA training and certifications such as CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar are beneficial
• Practical field experience, communication skills, and the ability to influence people are more important than simply having certifications
