Job summary

Suncore seeks an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety across the Wasatch Front, working closely with project and field teams to embed safety into daily operations. You’ll mentor a team of safety professionals, investigate incidents, and drive proactive programs to prevent injuries while ensuring regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes collaboration, coaching, and culture-building—shaping a workplace where safety is everyone’s responsibility and a core value across all projects.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience supporting projects of similar size and construction type.
• Knowledge of OSHA/state regulations and FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with injury case management and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction within the last three years.
• Certifications/education listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop safety professionals.
• Partner with operational leadership to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Strengthen safety programs with policies, training and risk mitigation.
• Provide hands-on field support and site inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and prevention efforts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, FMCSA/DOT, MSHA, workers’ comp).
• Use data to drive improvement and reduce incidents.
• Champion continuous improvement and cross-team communication.
