Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the development and maintenance of the safety program across regional job sites. You will promote a proactive safety culture, conduct site visits, lead trainings, and investigate incidents to drive continuous improvement.

This role may be assigned to a single project site as needed. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926; professional certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to job sites.
• OSHA 500 Trainer certification or trainer-level experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-wide safety policies and develop job-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Participate in JSA (Job Safety Analysis) reviews and Jobsite Gym activities.
• Lead frequent safety trainings and meetings at the corporate, regional, and self-perform levels.
• Participate in and lead corporate safety meetings.
• Lead self-perform preconstruction safety meetings.
• Serve as a trainer for programs including Fall Protection, NFPA Hot Work, First Aid/CPR, MEWP, and Forklift Certification.
• Perform hazard assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports and lead root cause analyses.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of PPE and fall protection systems.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and coordinate site-wide safety initiatives.
