Job summary

Shirley Parsons is recruiting a Senior Safety Manager for a marquee Rochester, MN project on behalf of a leading general contractor. You will drive the safety program at the project level, elevating the safety culture and ensuring compliance across site operations.

Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates. You will lead inspections, investigations, and trainings, mentor a team, and partner with leadership to track key metrics and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of safety management on major construction projects.
• Commercial high-rise experience preferred.
• CSP, ASP or BCSP certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality or related discipline preferred.
• Strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
• Based near Rochester, MN and willing to travel to the job site daily.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections, accident investigations and audits.
• Highlight safety metrics/trends to senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor a safety team on the project.
• Conduct new hire orientation and OSHA-compliant training.
• Engage with operations, subs, and client on safety matters as SME.
