Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Safety Manager in Phoenix, AZ to oversee safety across multiple projects, lead safety personnel, and drive a strong safety culture and performance on-site.

The candidate will have 8–10 years of safety leadership experience on major construction projects, hold CSP or CHST, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or a related field. Based in Phoenix with willingness to travel to project sites across the area.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of proven safety leadership on major construction projects.
• CSP or CHST certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Based in Phoenix, willing to travel across the greater Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections and accident investigations with corrective actions.
• Highlight safety metrics and trends to senior leadership.
• Conduct new hire orientation and OSHA-compliant training.
• Engage with leadership, job-site teams, GC and client on safety matters.
