Job summary

The Jaynes Team seeks an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead site safety programs on our construction projects. This on-site role requires active participation in daily and weekly safety activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

You will conduct inspections, lead safety discussions, and coordinate with field supervision to uphold a strong safety culture across the site. Travel to project sites is frequent.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA 500 construction certification required.
• 5+ years of commercial construction safety experience, with at least 2 years in leadership.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day safety guidance and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct weekly project-specific safety inspections and daily safety walks.
• Lead Toolbox Talks and review pre-task planning and safety huddles.
• Review subcontractor safety plans and participate in project meetings.
