Job summary

Jaynes Corporation is seeking a flexible and results-driven Project Superintendent to oversee multiple construction projects on site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to budget and schedule. You will liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects that meet our standards.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to mentor on-site staff while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction, codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Must attend safety trainings and promote safety on site.
• Ability to work with subcontractors, suppliers and owners to complete work on time.
• Strong ability to establish procedures and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction for multiple projects ensuring safety, budget and schedule.
• Conceptualize plans and align daily/weekly site activities with those plans.
• Communicate policies to project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and owners.
• Maintain quality control for company and subcontractors on site.
• Analyze and resolve construction problems and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor on-site staff, optimizing work sequences and safety.
• Review job cost reports and initiate changes to stay within budget.
• Represent the company with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors and consultants.
• Interpret drawings, specs and shop drawings as needed for supervision area.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and review schedules, RFIs and changes.
• Delegate tasks to assistants, engineers, foremen and subcontractors.
• Assign qualified personnel to operate and maintain equipment.
