SPC Construction in Hoboken, NJ, seeks an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead site safety programs across multiple project sites. You will analyze trends, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct orientations, and review procedures to protect workers and minimize risk.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction safety, strong leadership, and proven ability to mentor safety professionals. You will coordinate permits, equipment needs, training, and risk mitigation to keep projects on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health & safety or a related field is required.
• 8+ years in construction or safety.
• Experience managing safety teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and permits.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety program and procedures for one or more project sites.
• Analyze safety trends and track incidents to drive improvements.
• Conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks for project staff.
• Ensure all required permits and certifications are active and tracked.
• Provide technical safety guidance on training, equipment, and inspections.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate emergency response and evacuation planning with the PM.
