Job summary

Multicon Services LLC is seeking a professional Safety Officer to join our team. In this role, you will establish policies to create and maintain a safe workplace on our construction projects and ensure company-wide compliance with those policies.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to educate a varied workforce on the importance of safety and compliance with company policies. Flexible work from home options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Safety manager is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
• Strong written communication skills to write policies and reports.
• Understanding of risk assessment and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable giving presentations in large groups.

Responsibilities

• Follow legal guidelines to create and execute health and safety plans
• Enforce health and safety policies within the workplace
• Evaluate existing practices to assess risk and ensure adherence to the law
• Conduct company-wide trainings and presentations to educate employees on accident prevention and other health and safety concerns
• Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Inspect equipment and workspaces to identify potentially unsafe conditions
