Job summary

Genesis AEC, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead site safety programs on client projects in Center Square, PA.

You will coordinate inspections, incident investigations, and safety orientations to ensure strict regulatory compliance and a safe working environment. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA and NFPA knowledge, and strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Substitution of higher education for experience allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience performing safety inspections and ensuring OSHA/NFPA compliance.
• Knowledge of tilt-up construction safety protocols and best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and implementation of safety programs such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, fire protection, and other OSHA compliance.
• Advises on safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local agencies.
• Develops and maintains the site Project Hazard Register (PHR) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) tracking.
• Conducts routine safety and hazard inspections and follows up on findings.
• Responds to emergencies and investigates findings; makes recommendations.
• Analyzes incident reports for trends and corrective actions.
• Participates in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
• Supports start-up audits and development of start-up plans for equipment.
