The Construction Safety Manager will oversee overall safety for personnel on-site and in offices, developing safety plans and leading proactive risk prevention efforts.

The role requires a Bachelors degree in a related field, 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, and preferred CSP/CHST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of dedicated safety experience in a construction environment (commercial preferred).
• OSHA 30-Hour (Construction) required.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Policy Development: Develop site-specific safety plans and emergency procedures.
• Leadership: Champion a proactive safety culture and drive accountability at all levels.
• Program Management: Monitor safety metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Regulatory Reporting: Stay current on industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Field Oversight: Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Team Education: Facilitate safety orientations and training.
• Incident Management: Lead investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Compliance: Maintain OSHA documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with insurers, OSHA inspectors, and leadership.
