Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety on our world-class projects. You will promote a culture of care while enforcing safety policies and federal standards, partnering with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all phases.

You will mentor safety staff, drive hazard mitigation, and coordinate third-party reviews. The role requires on-site work, extended hours during critical phases, and a commitment to protecting workers, trade partners, and the public.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction safety experience with related degree or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners
• Training/experience in crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safety
• Ability to persuade a broad range of stakeholders
• Strong multi-priority management in deadline-driven environments
• Agile, data-driven approach to achieving objectives while balancing short and long term goals
• Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence

Responsibilities

• Drive the Clark safety culture on a project
• Oversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and general public
• Enforce corporate and project specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards
• Mentor safety staff and assist in their development
• Identify known or potential exposures and recommend corrective action
• Develop, coordinate, and implement overall project specific safety programs
• Partner with field supervision to ensure safety hazard mitigation measures are included in planning
• Develop project specific safety education for jobsite personnel
• Drive and create a safety vision and align the team to deliver a safe workplace
• Facilitate third party safety reviews including OSHA
• Teach safety-related topics within Clark beyond your jobsite
• Assist with business plan objective and corporate initiatives including OSHA and policies
• Recruit industry professionals to generate and win work
• Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team
