Job summary

BOND Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety on assigned construction projects in Massachusetts. You will develop and implement the BOND Safety Plan, coordinate with owners and subcontractors, and lead risk assessments and Emergency Procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, public speaking and effective collaboration with project teams. Responsibilities include daily safety inspections, incident investigations, and mentoring staff to uphold BOND’s safety standards,

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Safety or related field with construction experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and relationships.
• Deep knowledge of owner contracts, drawings, risk management.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes and safety best practices.
• Public speaking and safety training abilities.
• Detail oriented, organized, multitasker in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Operator Qualification 70/71 within 45 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BOND Safety Plan on a Project Level.
• Ensure all health and safety project plans are implemented and tracked.
• Liaise with external agents and inspectors related to safety and health.
• Collaborate with Project management on safe planning and issue summaries.
• Manage subcontractor safety issues with Project Management.
• Meet and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Provide input on pre-task planning and scheduling.
• Mentor subordinates and promote team values.
• Produce regular safety inspections within Highwire.
• Conduct accident investigations and follow up with Safety Support Services.
