Job summary

BOND Brothers, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead large-site programs on a on-site basis in the United States.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and cost control while fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, unions, owners, and design teams. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in engineering or related field, extensive scheduling and contract knowledge, and proven leadership to mentor field personnel.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in engineering or related field; a proven track record may substitute for degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of Owner contracts, drawings and specifications, subcontract agreements, insurance risks.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Scheduling process.
  • Ability to provide a project plan for use in the development of the overall project schedule.
  • Thorough knowledge of self-perform activities including site work, concrete, underground utilities (gas/electric), substations and campus infrastructure.
  • Understanding of manpower requirements related to these activities.
  • Ability to represent a project professionally at interviews.
  • Proficient at public speaking.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA 1926 and related Corporate Safety Program.
  • Thorough knowledge of Safety Risk Management (EMR, IR, SR, FR) and improving safety ratings.
  • Thorough knowledge of hazardous policies (confined space, hazmat, asbestos, lead paint).
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment safety and inspections.
  • Ability to manage a Project field force for high-risk, large projects.
  • Ability to coach/mentor/lead field supervisory staff.
  • OSHA 30-hour safety training completed.
  • First Aid and CPR training completed.
  • Proficiency with computer programs necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a quality project safely, on time, within budget and with focus on positive relationships.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors while developing long-lasting relationships for the Company.
  • Provide input and review of subcontractor scope to assist the PM.
  • Create and maintain relationships with unions to foster harmony on the project site.
  • Maintain care and custody of the project site to assure safety is of utmost priority.
  • Ensure Quality Control requirements are met per Contract Documents.
  • Provide input into pre-job planning, strategizing and conceptual scheduling.
  • Provide training and mentorship to field personnel.
  • Institute a team-oriented atmosphere and respectful collaboration among parties.
  • Produce daily and weekly progress reports and photos.
  • Execute the Company Safety Program and establish good relationships with government agencies.
