Job summary

BOND is seeking a construction cost management professional to oversee all project cost activities in Boston. You will develop and maintain schedules with the team and subs, manage safety programs, and proactively resolve staffing and workload challenges to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate reporting and QA/QC

• Knowledge of construction processes, estimates, plans and specifications.
• Strong focus on client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Ability to influence and build positive relationships with clients, design teams, subs, and staff.
• Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and prioritization to meet deadlines while delivering accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of project-related cost management.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the construction schedule; monitor and coordinate with team and subs to meet milestones.
• Support the company’s Safety Program and participate in Safety training and meetings.
• Analyze workload and staffing levels and proactively resolve manpower issues.
• Develop strong relationships with clients through regular communication of schedules, financials, and progress.
• Track and manage insurance and subcontractor agreements.
• Provide monthly cost reporting including forecasting of labor, subs, and risks to management.
• Assist in developing, tracking and completing the project QA/QC program.
