Mortenson Construction is seeking a Safety Manager I to lead the Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project sites and provide mentorship to safety professionals. Candidates should have a strong background in construction safety, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and be prepared for 100% travel across the U.S.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety program implementation, training, and collaboration with project teams. VISA sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field.
• Or HS Diploma with OSHA 500 and CHST plus 10 years of construction experience.
• CSP certification preferred; strong leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight and leadership across multiple project sites.
• Lead project teams in developing site-specific safety programs.
• Identify training needs and conduct safety orientations and trainings.
