Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead accident prevention initiatives and safety programs on construction projects. You will conduct site inspections, lead safety meetings, and coordinate training to drive compliant, safe work practices.

The role requires OSHA 30, STS-C within 90 days, and strong communication to influence field behavior. You will support incident investigations and assist with regulatory inspections across job sites.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 2 to 5 years of experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• STS-C or above within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with union workforce desired.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the administration of accident prevention efforts.
• Develop and facilitate appropriate training programs.
• Conduct work area assessments.
• Develop, organize, and implement safety related programs that meet company safety standards.
• Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings/training programs to ensure effective communication amongst employees.
• Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance.
• Ensure safety completion by reviewing the job hazard analysis for major phases of our work.
• Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks and audits.
• Meet with field personnel to develop corrective action plans and provide safety feedback.
