Job summary

Comfort Flow Heating in Springfield, OR is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement a broad range of safety programs, conduct inspections, and support OSHA compliance across facilities and job sites. You will administer workers' compensation and track incident data, maintain records, and train employees while partnering with HR and management to improve safety culture and regulatory adherence.

The role requires travel across Oregon and a strong focus on incident reduction and safe work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Health & Safety experience in a construction environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of OSHA laws and requirements.
• Willing to travel across Oregon; occasional overnights.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to develop safety programs and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Apply safety programs across facilities, sites, and jobs.
• Inspect job sites and facilities for hazards; recommend corrective actions.
• Administer workers' compensation and light-duty programs.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and claims.
• Coordinate OSHA postings and OSHA 300 logs.
• Deliver safety training and retraining; promote safety culture.
