Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Safety Specialist in Cedar Rapids, IA to promote and maintain a safe work environment across job sites. You will lead safety programs, deliver training, and enforce OSHA standards while supporting client relationships.

The role requires a degree in safety (or related field) or equivalent experience, plus at least three years in construction safety and OSHA training and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in construction safety and/or OSHA training.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire employment and safety orientations.
• Audit jobsites to identify safety risks and implement corrective measures.
• Deliver onsite safety training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
• Input and manage training records; lead safety meetings.
