Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field.
  • 2–4 years of construction safety or EHS experience.
  • Experience delivering safety trainings and conducting field inspections.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and training recordkeeping.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Iowa.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver OSHA, CPR, First Aid, and construction safety training to member organizations.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and field safety training sessions.
  • Develop toolbox talks and safety communications.
  • Visit job sites to evaluate hazards and provide compliance guidance.
  • Audit and assist in safety program development for contractors.
