Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our employee-owned team in New York. You will partner with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures across jobsites, supporting profitability and productivity.

You will conduct safety audits, drive improvements, and assist with incident investigations while coordinating with Risk Management to keep safety as a project priority on every site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal consultant to all company units with respect to safety.
• Ensure Clune employee, trade partner, visitor and vendor compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Provide safety guidance in project planning stages.
• Attend and contribute to safety meetings.
• Attend outside training for added designations and to keep up with industry changes.
• Role model professionally for all stakeholders.
