Job summary

Clune Construction seeks a Safety Coordinator to work with the Regional Safety Manager, ensuring safety and environmental procedures on jobsites. You will conduct safety audits and mitigate claims, partnering with Risk Management to prioritize safety on projects.

Essential functions include consulting across units, enforcing guidelines for employees, partners, and vendors, and contributing to safety meetings. The role requires proactive planning and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and health or related field; or equivalent combination of 1-3 years education and experience.
• Construction – OSHA 30 hour certification, preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal consultant to all company business units regarding safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations on sites.
• Provide safety guidance in planning stages for projects.
• Attend and contribute to safety meetings.
• Attend outside training for added designations and industry updates.
• Role model professional conduct for employees, partners, visitors, and vendors.
