Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Safety Intern to assist in formulating, developing, and coordinating safety and loss control functions at our Wisconsin site.

The role emphasizes OSHA/MSHA/DNR compliance, incident tracking, and safety communications. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Safety and Health Program, comfortable presenting information, and able to work a flexible schedule with 60-75% travel.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an approved Safety and Health Program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present information and lead discussions.
• Ability to track and organize safety statistics and forms.
• Knowledge of the electrical construction trade (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with government regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA, DNR, etc.
• Collaborates with Safety Department to improve safety and health for the company.
• Interfaces with customers and contractors to facilitate best safety practices and compliance.
• Leads monthly job site ORM discussions and toolbox talks.
• Serves as supplemental contact for onsite safety-related issues or concerns.
• Completes job site safety audits, identifies unsafe conditions and ensures corrective actions.
