Job summary

Faith Technologies in El Paso, TX seeks a Safety Intern to assist in formulating, developing, and coordinating safety and loss control functions across construction and engineering projects.

You will monitor regulatory compliance, support training, conduct site audits, and help prepare safety plans and toolbox talks while collaborating with the Safety Department and field teams.

Ideal candidates are proficient with Microsoft Office, eager to learn, and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an approved Safety and Health Program.
• Travel: 60-75%.
• Flex schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with government agencies (OSHA, MSHA, DNR, etc.).
• Collaborates with Safety Department to improve safety and health.
• Interfaces with customers and contractors to promote safety and regulatory adherence.
• Leads and facilitates toolbox talks and ORM discussions.
• Serves as supplemental contact for onsite safety concerns.
• Conducts job site safety audits and recommends corrective actions.
• Supports site personnel and assists in safety training.
• Assists in task safety analyses and pre-planning.
• Assists in completing, submitting, and tracking safety communications.
