Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education Specialist to develop and deliver safety training aligned with our Safety Management System. You will create content, conduct new hire orientations, and manage programs across sites.

Ideal candidates have 3–10+ years in construction safety, with strong writing, communication, and training delivery skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Power BI. This role is on site in Middletown, OH, with a focus on practical, impactful safety education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent with technical training/experience.
• 3–10+ years of safety/health experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deliver safety education and training materials aligned with the Company Safety and Health Management System.
• Conduct new hire and site safety orientations including drug testing and onboarding information.
• Manage training programs using in‑person, online, or blended formats.
• Create manuals, guides, presentations, Safety Talks, and handouts to support operations managers and teams.
• Evaluate learning outcomes with leadership and operations to improve training content.
• Maintain attendance records, training materials, and participant feedback for reporting.
• Deliver on‑site and online safety trainings and facilitate learning.
• Identify and mitigate risks by integrating safety policies into educational programs.
• Coordinate with safety leadership and operations to develop content for specific needs.
• Leverage multimedia and MS Office tools to enhance training communications.
