Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking an experienced Safety Education professional to develop, implement, and deliver safety training and materials across project sites. You will manage onboarding, safety content delivery, and evaluation of education programs to ensure adherence to the Company Safety and Health Management System.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in safety and health and 3–10+ years’ construction safety experience, with strong writing, communication, and MS Office/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 3 to 10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new team members with safety orientation, drug testing, and Workday information collection.
• Develop and manage safety training programs using multiple methods (in-person, online, blended).
• Create and update educational materials such as manuals, guides, presentations, and Safety Talks.
• Measure learning outcomes, gather feedback, and adjust training accordingly.
• Maintain training records and ensure certifications are met for roles.
• Deliver on-site and online safety training sessions.
• Identify risk and integrate mitigation into programs and materials.
• Coordinate with safety leadership and operations to tailor content for specific needs.
• Utilize multimedia tools and MS Office Suite to enhance communications.
