A leading company is seeking a Safety Coordinator responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards in heavy construction environments. The role involves inspecting PPE, conducting safety investigations, and writing safety plans. Candidates should have significant experience in safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations. This position requires travel and offers a dynamic work environment.
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all areas under their control meet the required standards as set out in company policies as well as any applicable government agencies and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also include demonstrating proper use of protective equipment, conducting investigations as required, and writing safety plans and reports for job sites.

Environment: Work is performed mainly in indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to various weather and temperature conditions, with travel from site to site.
Physical: The role requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate weights; to operate equipment requiring fine hand coordination; to travel using various transportation modes; and to communicate verbally to exchange information.
