Kokosing, Inc. seeks a Safety Co-op to support project teams in maintaining a safe work environment on active jobsites across multiple states.

You will work with safety professionals on inspections, trainings, and incident investigations while learning regulatory practices and safety planning. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering, and are eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a strong safety culture on our

Formación

• Pursuing associates or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• All levels eligible (freshman to senior) for the co-op program.
• Previous construction, industrial, or safety-related experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong interest in workplace safety and continuous learning.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Safety Specialists and project teams with safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning.
• Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Document safety inspections, observations, audits, and corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of safety plans and training records.
• Assist with safety communications and project updates.
• Observe field operations and how safety requirements apply to construction and plant activities.
• Support incident reporting and investigations while learning root cause analysis.
• Assist with onboarding activities related to safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to promote safety culture.
• Maintain records and assist with data collection on safety performance.
