The position supports training, subcontractor safety program reviews, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. It involves coordinating preconstruction meetings and worker orientations, with a focus on safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Familiar with Federal, State, and local Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training for safe work practices and safety programs.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with regulations and contract requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions.
• Administer drug screening program in alignment with requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Perform site safety audits and issue corrective action reports.
• Identify and report safety hazards and imminent dangers.
• Coordinate preconstruction meetings and worker orientation.
