Clark Construction Group seeks a Safety Coordinator to safeguard the health of thousands of craft workers and team members across our Los Angeles area sites. You will work with senior leaders to execute safety policies and drive Clark’s “Culture of Care.”

Responsibilities include enforcing safety programs, site walks, hazard mitigation, and coordinating third-party safety reviews (OSHA). Extended hours may be needed during critical project phases or deadlines.

Competenze

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or a master's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.

Mansioni

• Enforcing corporate and project-specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and educating Clark employees and trade contractors on occupation health and safety requirements.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety program.
• Identify potential hazards and provide input to mitigate hazardous conditions and assure compliance.
• Conduct site-walks and report project-specific safety performance and future plans.
• Work with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects of the project construction, including critical lifts, hazardous material handling, fire prevention, and evacuation.
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA.
