Job summary

QXO is seeking a strong, safety-minded ground crew member to load and assist with delivery operations. You will safely unload building products from conveyors, verify orders, and support drivers at the job site.

We're looking for individuals who can lift up to 100 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and follow all safety procedures while wearing PPE. A reliable commute to the Lansing branch is required.

• Reliable transportation to commute to branch location.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and bundles of shingles from conveyors and rooftops.
• Assist with ground drop operations when rooftop delivery is not feasible.
• Verify order contents before loading onto delivery trucks.
• Support delivery operations and drivers at the job site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

What you'll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
