Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products. We are seeking a safety‑m focused loader for our Howell, MI location to unload materials and assist with deliveries. You will work outdoors in all weather, lifting up to 100 lbs and following PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, supporting the driver on ground drops, and maintaining a strong safety mindset while delivering excellent service in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop.
• Assist with delivery operations and support the driver with ground drop when rooftop delivery is not feasible.
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and wear PPE at all times.
• Support branch operations and maintain safe work practices outdoors.

What you’ll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop.
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site.
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck.
• Assist with delivery operations.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
