Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a highly analytical Risk Management Specialist to join Project Controls. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to quality, schedule, and financial performance across programs.

Ideal candidates have a strong construction risk background, advanced analytics, and can translate risk data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Strong collaboration with PMs and SMEs is essential.

Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in project or program risk management within construction or related industries.
• Certifications: RMP/PRMP/DRMP preferred; ability to obtain within six months encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate structured risk identification workshops with project teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize industry-standard tools to identify and evaluate risks impacting timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Analyze project documentation to uncover vulnerabilities and model uncertainty.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and event models for programs.
• Create and implement Risk Management Plans aligned with project requirements.
• Present risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership.
