Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Relevant construction project procurement and contract management experience.
• Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods.
• Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping.
• Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
• Highly self-motivated, analytical, and customer centric.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of risk trigger points to profile risk costs.
• Use risk data to inform investment planning.
• Monitor risk exposure and remaining risk budget.
• Collaborate with contractors on client and held risks.
• Produce risk reports to communicate status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment to inform contingencies.
• Develop and improve risk management services for the client.
• Lead end-to-end project risk management on multiple projects.
• Create risk management plans compliant with client frameworks.
• Perform risk reviews and determine response plans.
• Lead schedule and cost risk assessments (QCRA & QSRA).
• Integrate risk management with program controls.
• Collaborate with program/project controls to remove redundancies.
• Share knowledge within risk team and client stakeholders.
• Create value stream maps to identify pain points and reduce waste.
• Collaborate on supplier performance management and action plans.
• Support expert witnesses in arbitral or litigation processes.
• Lead, manage and perform contract and claims management.
• Assess contractual claims per contract.
• Provide strategic and contractual dispute advice.
• Evaluate delay recovery measures.
• Manage change management and cost control in construction.
• Supervise measurements and valuation of completed works.
• Manage settlement of final accounts with contractors.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.

Education
