Job summary

Acousti Engineering is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead enterprise risk and insurance programs across multiple entities. You will manage claims, oversee OCIP/CCIP programs, and partner with Safety, Finance, and operations to minimize financial exposure.

The role requires 5–10 years in risk management within construction, strong knowledge of insurance programs, and the ability to drive risk initiatives across subdivisions.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably within the construction industry.
• GC/construction environment experience with risk mitigation and claims management.
• Knowledge of construction insurance programs, risk mitigation, and claims management.
• Experience managing workers' compensation and general liability claims.
• Experience administering insurance programs, policy administration, and broker relationships.
• Knowledge of subcontractor insurance requirements and compliance processes.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, external counsel, and risk partners.
• OSHA recordkeeping knowledge and log requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee enterprise risk management and insurance programs across multiple entities.
• Oversee claims management lifecycle including workers' comp, GL, and construction-related claims.
• Oversee contractor prequalification and risk assessments with project teams.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, injury reporting, and safety records are maintained.
• Analyze insurance expenditures, premiums, and financial exposure with Finance.
